Manhattan Area Non-Profit/Educational Organizations are invited to participate in the 2020 Community Fair to be held Saturday, February 1, 2020, 10 am to 3 pm at Manhattan Town Center. The Community Fair is an opportunity for local non-profit and educational organizations to highlight volunteer and membership opportunities while generating awareness and interest.
Organizations are encouraged to set up an educational display that provides such information to the general public. Also, this is the one time a year that Manhattan Town Center allows non-profit and educational organizations to fundraise in the center. However, we ask that you refrain from bake sales or any similar fundraisers involved with food.
You may register for the Community Fair free of charge and exhibit free of charge. We can provide tables with covers for a rental fee of $10.00 each. Chairs are available for $5.00 each. Please make checks payable to Manhattan Town Center. All table/chair reservations must be paid in advance unless other arrangements are made. You may bring your own table if you wish; however, you must use a table cover. If you do not have one, we can provide one at no charge. Just let us know ahead of time.
Participants are asked to bring door prizes, but instead hold a drawing at your booth. Please hang on to the door prizes. If you tell us in the description what you are bringing, it will be promoted.
Participants should fill out a registration form and return it with your cash, check or money order for table/chair rental to Manhattan Town Center by Monday, January 20, 2020. Please provide a complete description of your booth activities and purpose. . All registration forms will be processed on a first come first serve basis. Once capacity has been reached any subsequent registration forms on a wait list.
A confirmation letter, map and a list of rules and regulations will be provided to all registered participants prior to the event. Please note, if you have not received a confirmation letter by January 27, your organization does not have a reserved space.
