Lady Jays lose to Olathe West

The Junction City Lady Jays fell to Olathe West 60-29 in the consolation semifinal round of the 2020 Lady Firebirds Winter Classic at Lawrence Free State High School.

Junction City coach Tim Testa said his team did a better job breaking the press in this game but did turn the ball over too many times. "We played pretty good in the post. Olathe West is kind of a five-out guard oriented team and I think our post did a pretty good job."

Junction City will play Lawrence in the seventh-place consolation game in the tournament at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
