Randa Lee Seals, 63 passed away Saturday, February 1st, at Stormont Vail Hospital, Topeka.
She was born May 7, 1956 in Council Grove, to Wilma (Billie) Cornell and Carl Proehl and attended Council Grove High School.
Randa was a homemaker and mother to her daughter Danna. Together they made their home in Council Grove, until it became necessary to be cared for by her sister Carla, and moved to Topeka.
Randa loved her family and she loved Jesus, attending Pleasant Ridge church for many years.
She enjoyed board games, word search puzzles, classic TV and birthday parties, especially her own.
She was preceded in death by her mother Billie Cornell and brother Doug Proehl.
She is survived by her daughter Danna of Topeka, her father Carl Proehl and wife Jan of Gilbert of Arizona, brother Rick Proehl of Chandler, Arizona, sister Dawn Sawyer and husband Jim of Eldorado, sister Carla Swisher and husband Lynn of Topeka, and several nieces, nephews and greats.
She requested cremation and we will celebrate her life on May 7th, 2020. It would have been her 64th Birthday. The celebration will include a graveside service at Four Mile Cemetery at 11:00am, followed by a Birthday party at Sawyer Funeral Home. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sawyer Funeral Home, Box 273, Council Grove, KS 66846, which will go to the Special Education Department of Council Grove High School.
