Junction City Blue Jay Landan Wilson turned in a season best time of 23.00 seconds in the 50 yard freestyle at the Class 6A State Swimming Meet in Topeka. According to KSHSAA and Blue Jay Athletics Twitter that was the 19th fastest time in the qualifying round. He will not advance to the finals on Saturday.
Wilson had been pre-seeded 27th but with his strong time he finished higher. Congratulations to Landan Wilson on a solid performance at state.
