A 25 year old Junction City resident, John Edward Motton is listed in stable condition at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka where he was lifeflighted after suffering a stab wound to his chest Sunday evening. Police report that Kyrianna Johnson, 21, Junction City, was arrested on suspicion of Domestic Aggravated Battery.
Police said they responded to an apartment complex at 110 West 16th Street for a subject bleeding. Upon arrival they found Motton suffering from the stab wound.
During their investigation they determined the victim had been assaulted in Unit Number one of the complex where he resides with his girlfriend, Kyrianna Johnson, 21. Johnson was transported to the Geary County Detention Center where she was held without bonding pending a first court appearance.
