Helen Anna King was born in Washington D.C. May 6, 1943 and passed away February 17, 2020 at Via Christi Village of natural causes. She was 76.
She and most of her siblings were raised in Philadelphia, PA and later relocated to Manhattan, KS. She married Harvey Paul King and they had 5 children together before divorcing.
Helen was proceeded in death by her parents, Magdaline (Kientz) and Peter Horocofsky, and her youngest son Michael King.
She is survived by three sisters, Mary Jane (Roger) Holmes, Stella A. (Michael) Sweeney, Tina Horocofsky and one brother Joe Horocofsky (Sherry Gehrt, her children Debbie (Steve) Friesz, Ricky King, Becky King, Teresa (Luke) Everding, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Helen was such an animal lover and requested any memorial contributions be made to the T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter in Manhattan, KS and can be sent in care of Yorgensen, Meloan, Londeen Funeral Home.
