Members of the Geary County - Junction City dive team participated in Advanced dive Training Friday at Milford Lake. They utilized full face mask and dry suits under the instruction of Dive Rescue International. They were joined by firefighters from the Wichita and Lincoln, Nebraska Fire Departments.
The dry suits protected the members of the dive team. Sheriff Daniel Jackson noted that the water temperature was 37.5 degrees. Participants in the training effort worked in a classroom, at the Junction City Family YMCA Pool and then at Milford Lake during the three day training exercise.
