Dickinson County authorities located an armed robbery suspect for Saline County in Solomon on March 5th. According to Dickinson County Sheriff Gareth Hoffman his department's Drug Enforcement Unit located Dvonte Johnson who had been suspected of committing an armed robbery in Saline County hours prior to be located.
Hoffman said the Drug Enforcement Unit aided in the arrest of Johnson and then subsequently applied for and was granted a search warrant to a house known to have been used by Johnson for both drug activity and stolen property.
A house at 216 East 6th Street in Solomon was searched by the Drug Enforcement Unit in conjunction with the Saline County Sheriff's Department. Various items were seized including drugs, drug paraphernalia and firearms.
Hoffman said the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department is requesting charges of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substances and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The investigation is ongoing and other arrests are possible.
