The Geary County Commission has signed a COVID 19 Public Health Emergency Resolution that will go into effect immediately and last for 60 days.

There are currently no known cases in Geary County.

Emergency Management Director Garry Berges noted that as the county moves forward certain personal protective equipment for EMS, hospital staff and others will be in short supply. The resolution will allow Geary County to request the supplies from the State of Kansas as the County works to protect the residents of Geary County.
