Sheriff: Wabaunsee Co. woman who skipped felony sentencing is in custody

WABAUNSEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities have take a wanted Kansas felon who skipped sentencing hearing two weeks ago into custody.

On March 3, the Wabaunsee County Sheriff asked the public for help to locate 34-year-old Amy Jean Roth.

 In additional to the felony sentencing, she is also a person of interest in a burglary and theft from a home where firearms were taken, according to the sheriff's department.

On Monday, the sheriff's office reported her arrest but did not released details on her capture.

 Roth has previous convictions for theft and forgery, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
