Stay at Home Order issued for Fort Riley

The Army has announced action on a Stay at Home Order for Fort Riley.

In coordination with the Kansas Governor’s executive order mandating statewide “stay home,” the Commanding General, 1ID and Fort Riley, has issued a General Order mandating Stay-at-Home for all military personnel and Department of the Army Civilians (DAC) assigned or attached to Fort Riley.

Although essential activities as directed by the first O-5 level commander for military personnel and O-6 level commander for DAC are permitted, there are punitive restrictions placed on travel, visitation, physical fitness, and reiterates restrictions placed on Soldiers ordered into quarantine and isolation. All Fort Riley personnel are strongly encouraged to restrict movement between the hours of 2200-0500.

Commanders will counsel and support their service members and DACs regarding the execution of this order.

Consult your chain of command or supervisor for details. The effective date of this order is 30 March 2020 and remains in effect until 19 April 2020, unless rescinded by the Commanding General, 1ID and Fort Riley, or modified in conjunction with local, state, or DoD guidance.
