During this COVID-19 period, National Guard members delivered two pallets of supplies to Geary County on Saturday. Emergency Management Director Garry Berges said they are part of the County's request package from the State and there more than 100 boxes of different sizes. "There's more masks, gowns, respirators and supplies for our emergency responders to help take care of the depleted supplies we have."

Berges said Geary County will continue requesting more supplies from the state. "As these agencies need more supplies we try to stay ahead and keep supplies here on hand that we can hand out. We'll keep putting the requests in when they tell us what they need."
