There will be a strong online presence for many of the churches in Junction City this Easter weekend. The President of the Geary County Ministerial Alliance, BJ Solander said many churches are livestreaming as the COVID-19 stay at home guidelines continue. "We've got churches that are doing kind of a live radio broadcast with people in their vehicle, windows rolled up."

Solander said there are some churches doing call-in sermons. "We've got folks really getting creative about staying within the mandates and yet at the same time offering hope and really encouragement to others."

Solander said he was proud of the churches, pastors and the association for stepping up to help meet needs and bring hope and encouragement during this COVID-19 time.

Solander also noted the churches may have a bigger audience than ever. "What we're seeing at several of the churches in the Association is that we're reaching people that maybe due to the Army,  maybe due to job changes, or all the country now, maybe they haven't found a church home and they're still looking to make that transition. They're tuning back in." Solander added it's been amazing to see friends from across the country and other nations tune in when before they couldn't.
