Teresa Fay Mills of Marion, KS passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 after fighting 15 days from a massive brain bleed.
Teresa was born by Thurman and Louise Smith in Garden City, KS on March 19, 1953.
Throughout her life, Teresa grew up in Arizona, moved to Washington as a retired LPN and then moved to Marion, KS to be closer to family in 2018.
Teresa’s vivacious personality drew her to many enjoyments in life that included nature, hunting, her yorkie dogs, Billy and Bella, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Teresa was always known as the life of the party and found her calling as the Director of the Marion Historical Museum. Teresa would create craft workshops and history scavenger hunts for the children who would stop by the museum. She was honored to be welcomed into the Marion community and has left a footprint for those who miss her.
Go rest in peace, be free and see on you the other side of the rainbow.
Teresa is precede by death: Father (Thurman, Mother (Louise) and Sister (Janie, but survived by: Daughter Lisa (Dan) Elliott, Grandson Colby Elliott of Buhler, KS; Brother Ronnie Smith of Hillsboro, KS; Sister Barbara (Larry) Smith of Marion, KS; Sister Sharon (Vincent) Alfaro of Mesa, AZ; Sister Judy (Dennis) Kotterman of Show Low, AZ and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family viewing on Monday, April 27, 2020. Burial will be at a later date for family and friends. Yazel-Megli-Zeiner Funeral Home is serving the family.
