Thursday, May 7th is National Day of Prayer. The Geary County Ministerial Alliance said because of the call for social distancing the regular gathering at Heritage Park cannot be held. But that will not stop them from calling the community to prayer

Ministers in the Junction City area will be hosting live short segments beginning at 9 and 11 a.m. and at 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Each will direct the focus to pray for important segments of the community, such as education, health and emergency workers and others.
After each segment people will be encouraged to take time to pray for that specific group.
