The latest COVID-19 positive case number total is 14 in Geary County through Sunday. There has not been a dramatic increase in cases.
Junction City Commissioner Pat Landes said this past week that he was "really impressed with this community." Landes said you watch the nightly news and see spikes in places around the country. "But you don't see it here and I think that's something to be really proud of. We're not out of this yet, keep up the good work, do what you have to do, but don't relax. This is not done so just be careful, do your best, keep up your hygiene, masks as you need to."
Landes complimented the community during a recent city commission meeting.
