Police release information in connection with a recent double homicide

Junction City police have issued a request via social media to the public in connection with last Thursday's double homicide in which two men, Dillon Spencer, 21 and Aaron Villarreal, 19, were found shot to death in the area of 800 West 11th.

Police Captain Trish Giordano told JC Post on Tuesday that a warrant has now been issued in the case. "Today a warrant was issued for two counts of First Degree Murder for Nathaniel Roderick Holmes. He is wanted in the double homicide we had last Thursday. " Holmes is  21 years old.

Giordano said police are also looking for a person of interest who goes by "J." Law enforcement is requesting the public's assistance in the identification and location of that person.

Anyone with information leading to the identification of "J" and the locations of either subject will be eligible for a $1,000 reward for each subject. You can call Crime Stoppers at 785-762-8477 or leave a WebTip. 

The JCPD added in their release that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
