Donations for Pack the Pantry fundraising effort in Junction City have exceeded the $15,000 mark. That includes a recent $1,500 donation plus other local donations and $5,000 from the Schmidt Foundation. The funds will support the Food Pantry of Geary County.
Additional donations are accepted at Central National Bank outlets and online at PacktheJCPantry.org.
Sponsors of the effort have included Eagle Radio, the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce and Central National Bank.
