Geary County Emergency Management said it's no secret by now, there is a winter storm on tap for the next 24-36 hours.
The area could see anywhere from 4-8 inches of snow.
Precipitation should begin Tuesday night after 6pm, with a wintry mix.
This will change over to snow during the overnight hours and continue throughout the day on Wednesday, tapering off until early Thursday morning.
What's this mean? BE PREPARED! Roads will be slick and visibility may be low. If you MUST be out, turn on your headlights and be as visible as possible. Watch out for the "other guy," you never know what he's doing! Wipers for snow = headlights for snow.
