There were not any additional positive COVID-19 cases reported in Geary County on Monday. Health Officer Tammy Von Busch confirmed there were no new cases since last week. The overall total since the pandemic began remains at 29.

Von Busch said officials were happy about not having any new cases. "So I appreciate everything that people are doing to help protect themselves and protect the community."

Von Busch urged the public to continue to practice all of the precautions ranging from wearing of face masks when they travel to practicing social distancing. "Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands."
