RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Tuesday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Western Star semi driven by Travis Dean Matthews, 43, Herington, was eastbound on Kansas 18 and turned left to enter the entrance ramp to Southbound Kansas 177. The vehicle overturned onto its passenger side.
EMS transported Matthews to Via Christi. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
