Geary County health officials reported 10 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 and five recovered cases on Wednesday.
There are 198 active cases in the county and six hospitalizations, down five hospitalizations from Tuesday.

Geary Community Hospital still has ventilators remaining and is still accepting patients. Officials report that inaccurate information was released on this topic by the Health Department. The initial report had indicated that all five ventilators were in use and patients needing a ventilator would be sent to hospitals outside the county.
