Kansas man hospitalized after 3-vehicle crash

CLAY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Thursday in Clay County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Toyota Rav4 driven by Dean, David Michael Dean, 64, Clay Center, was northbound on Kansas 15 five miles north of Clay Center.

The SUV crossed left of center and struck a southbound 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Max Martin, 80, Clay Center. After impact, a southbound 1989 Freightliner semi driven by Aaron Michael Wulff, 49, Persia, Iowa, struck the Toyota.

EMS transported Dean to the Clay County Medical Center.  The KHP reported no additional injuries that required transport for treatment. All three drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
