JUNCTION CITY - American Red Cross volunteers and partners will participate in the 'Sound the Alarm' event, on Saturday, March 11th.

'Sound the Alarm' will bring volunteers together to install free smoke alarms in Junction City.

Volunteers can register in person on March 11th, starting at 8:30 a.m. at Vertical Church, located at 339 W. 18th Street.

Working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death due to home fires in half.
