Kathy Marie Walls, 62, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on June 6, 2024, in her home.
Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life service will be held at Church of Christ, 1125 N. Adams, Junction City, Kansas 66441 on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Kathy was born on Valentine's Day in 1962 in Aurora, Missouri, to Claude and Virginia Tharp. At the age of two, Kathy's parents moved to Junction City as her dad was stationed at Fort Riley. Kathy remained in Junction City throughout the remainder of her life. Kathy attended Junction City High School and graduated in the Class of 1980. She married her loving husband, Jerry Walls, on May 23, 2013. Kathy worked for Electric Wire Harness for 27 years but at the end of the day, her family was always the most important part of her life! Kathy used to love to spend much of her free time working in her vegetable and flower gardens. When she was no longer able to enjoy this hobby, Kathy discovered her love of crocheting.
Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 10 years, Jerry; two sons, Mike (Jasmine) Stewart and Westley Stewart; two step-sons, Christopher (Debra) Walls and Scott (Becky) Walls; one daughter, Michelle (Joshua) Wingate; one step-daughter, Krystal McBee; fourteen grandchildren, Audri, Alaina, Colton, Chad, Noah, Brianna, Lydia , Tessa, Aspen, Emma, John, Jade, Kristopher, and Elizabeth; one brother, Robert (Tina) Tharp. She also leaves behind her dog, Scooter. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
