Kathy Tremont has been selected to serve as the new chair for the Geary County Republican Central Committee. Tremont recently retired from the Geary County Treasurer position.
Rick Roberts will serve as the Central Committee vice-chair and Corrine Fehr will continue as secretary-treasurer.
The Republican Central Committee supports and advocates for all Republican candidates running for office. There primary objective is finding excellent candidates to serve in those offices.
The committee meets on the third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. and a location for the meetings will be announced in the near future.
