Junction City Arts Council invites the public to an artist reception for Patricia “Patti” Adams on Saturday, April 18 from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Munson Arts Education Building, 131 W. 7th Street in Junction City.

Adams’ work is currently on display in the Rago Gallery and Markley Lobby, featuring paintings inspired by the landscapes and skies of the Midwest. Her work captures the wide horizons, prairie grasses, and dramatic skies that define the Kansas landscape.

Adams says the beauty of the region continues to inspire her work. “Endless skies and horizons, swaying grasses, calm of roaming livestock, and beautiful but violent storms all influence my paintings,” she said.

Visitors attending the reception will have the opportunity to meet the artist, view the exhibit, and learn more about the inspiration behind her work. Light refreshments will be served.

The exhibit is presented by the Junction City Arts Council and is open to the public.
