Blue Jays finish ninth in the JCHS Invitational

Junction City produced a team score of 418 at Rolling Meadows Golf Course to finish ninth out of ten teams in the Junction City High School Invitational.

Manhattan won the team title with a score of 326. The Indians were followed by Washburn Rural with a score of 334 and Topeka Seaman at 344. Following them were Hutchinson at 360, Tonganoxie 365, Shawnee Heights 373, Hayden 374, Emporia 401, Junction City 418 and Abilene 420.

For Junction City in the individual competition Michael Faybien finished in a tie for 39th with a round of 98, David Hurley and Brandon Durbin tied for 49th with a round of 105, and Creytin Sanner shot a 110 to finish 58th. Giles Frederickson of Washburn Rural turned in a round of 74 to finish first.
