Geary County, Grandview Plaza and Junction City firefighters responded to a garage - shop fire about 9:45 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East Flint Hills. There were no injuries.

According to Grandview Plaza Fire Chief Jeremy Bramwell the cause of the blaze was accidental. The damage estimate is s till undetermined. The property was owned by Ricky Parker.

According to Geary County Rural Fire Chief Garry Berges the blaze was brought under control. During the fire the wind blew smoke across Interstate 70.
