Robert ( Bobby ) Miller has filed for election to the 3rd District seat on the Geary County Commission. He filed by petition in the county clerk's office Monday morning.
Miller is a rancher and farmer, and a retired county appraiser. He tells JC Post that he served as county appraiser in Wabaunsee County for 11 years and worked on the county appraisal staff for 11 years in Pottawatomie County before that.
Miller resides about five miles southeast of Junction City.
Keith Ascher, who has not yet filed for reelection, has been serving as the Third District county commissioner.
June 3rd at noon is the filing deadline.
