RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations.
Just after 3p.m. on September 3, police arrested 34-year-old John Deem of Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report. He is being held on a requested charge of violating the offender registration act.
This arrest stems from a report filed in August. He has been a registered offender since October 2021 for a drug distribution conviction in Shawnee County, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
