The Geary County Health Department supports community health. According to a County newsletter this being done through clinical services, outreach and emergency preparedness efforts.
During the first quarter the staff conducted six influenza clinics in partnership with Jim Clark, Bicentennial Manor, Foot Locker warehouse, Cloud County Community College and Dorothy Bramlage Public Library to increase vaccine access.
Through Safe Kids Geary County, families receive education on home safety car seat use, safe walking routes and injury prevention related to swimming, biking and sports, including free car seat installation checks.
