Geary County Convention and Visitors Bureau Joins Forces with Kayak Bass Fishing Luminary

The Geary County Convention and Visitors Bureau (GCCVB) has announced a new partnership with Chad Hoover, with the world of Kayak Bass Fishing, to host two year-long exclusive to Kansas events on the Milford Lake throughout 2024.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both the GCCVB and kayak fishing enthusiasts, as Milford Lake's waters set the stage for an unparalleled angling experience. The events, curated under the expertise of Chad Hoover, promise an immersive competition that will attract participants and spectators alike from across the nation.

"We are ecstatic to team up with Chad Hoover to bring these exceptional events to Milford Lake," expressed Donna Price, Director at GCCVB. "This partnership underscores our commitment to showcasing the natural beauty and recreational opportunities that Geary County has to offer."

The events planned for 2024 are just the beginning. Negotiations are already underway for the extension of this partnership into 2025 and 2026, with the potential addition of state championships. These endeavors aim to not only elevate Milford Lake and three area rivers as premier kayak bass fishing destinations but also solidify Geary County as a hub for outdoor enthusiasts.
