Police Chief John Lamb explained the evening was an opportunity for the public to learn about the different things going on in the community. "Also see what our local law enforcement can do, and what we can provide between us and the Sheriff's Department, Grandview Plaza Police and the Junction City Fire Department, what  their taxpayer money is going toward, provide the service that we provide.

Lamb also participated in the dunk tank. "Deep and cold but it was refreshing. As hot as it is we still have a good crowd so we're really excited about the turnout. "
