RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Monday in Riley County.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2026 Chevy Colorado driven by Lily Dorio, 19, of Manhattan, struck a 2021 Kia Sorento driven by Kaleigh Evans, 30, of Junction City, near Casement Road and Hayes Drive.
Riley County EMS transported Evans to Via Christi Hospital. Dorio was issued a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign.
