Brigade wrap up 2022 and look ahead to 2023

Total attendance for Junction City Brigade baseball games in 2022 has been calculated at 5,161. Game day revenue has been figured at $42,630 and salaries paid to employees totaled $21,652 and sales tax generated $6,428. 

The numbers were outlined during the postseason appreciation banquet for the Brigade.

Cecil Aska, General Manager, touched on a number of other topics. 

--The Mid Plains League All Star game will be played at Rathert Field. "Right after the first of the year we'll start putting that together and 

--At this point the league could expand by two or three teams.

--Four percent of the fans at Rathert Field last summer traveled 40 miles or more to watch the Brigade.

--The 2023 schedule should be out in a couple weeks.

--Garrett Francis will be the new head coach. He is a former player and assistant coach for the Brigade.

--The Brigade have been in existence for 10 years.
