Geary Community Hospital has begun to provide a daily update on COVID-19 cases for that facility. As of Saturday the total patient census at GCH was 13 with six of them COVID-19 cases. Of those six all of them involved patients that had not been vaccinated for the coronavirus.
Four of the COVID-19 patients were on ventilators in the intensive care unit.
