On Tuesday at 2:3 p.m. Deputies responded to a two vehicle injury accident at mile marker 302 west bound I-70. The Sheriff's Department said that Steven J. Barnes of Manhattan was riding his 2015 Yamaha YZFR3 when he hit the rear end of a 2003 Buick Rendezvous driven by Thomas E. Shull of Grandview Plaza.
Barnes was transported to Stormont Vale. The Yamaha was removed from the scene by private tow and the Buick by the owner.
