It's cold now but even colder temperatures arrive for the weekend and into early next week. Wind chills will be dangerously low for those outside for an extended period.
Geary County Emergency Management passed along information from the National Weather Service. In addition to the cold, there will be two chances for light snow through the weekend. The first will be coming Friday night into Saturday morning, with the higher amounts closer to the Nebraska border. The second arrives Sunday into Monday, but plenty of uncertainty still exists with this round.
