County employees will be recognized for years of service

Geary County Commissioners will recognize employees for service milestones attained during 2021 at a ceremony on Monday, Sept. 27 at 3 p.m.

Treasurer's Office employee Sherri Childs will be recognized for 40 years of service. Honored for 25 years of service will Edna Kidwell, Jeanette DeMars and Martin Snyder from the Sheriff's Department, Tonnette Hammond from the Health Department, Bradley Champ in Public Works and retired Public Works employee William Hollis.

Other employees with anywhere from five to 20 years will be recognized.  They include:

20 years: Vaughn DeGuzman, Community Corrections

15 years: LouElla Black, Treasurer, Donna Richardson, Sheriff and Scott Wesoloski, Sheriff's Department.

10 years: Brent Graham, Court Trustee, Clint Arnold, Matthew Tyler, Reyan Rikoric and Aaron Parker Sr., Sheriff's Department, Debbie McCallister, Appraiser, Chester Steinfort and Steven Meyer, Public Works.

5 years: Ali SZanchez-Hulzar and Tammy Wahsnicht, Sheriff, Miziram Williams and Kellie Bentley Health Department, Lisa Streeton, Public Works and Susan Burkett, County Attorney's Office.
