The Geary County Commission has approved a motion to accept a Junction City Commission offer for EMS and Ambulance fees. Commissioner Keith Ascher noted that the City has proposed $145,000 per month for 2024 fees. "My motion said up to $145,000 per month. I feel like that we met in the middle and that's what the goal was all along." The up to portion of the motion is based on bills received from the City.
The county commission vote on the motion was 3-0. It helps to move toward an agreement with the City over the amount charged by the City to the County for EMS Services.
