GEARY COUNTY - A six-year old girl drowned at Milford State Park on Monday.
Just before 5p.m. Geary County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a possible drowning at the park's swim beach by the Splashpad and South Boat Ramp. according to a media release.
EMS transported a six-year old girl to Stormont Vail Flint Hills campus, in Junction City where she was pronounced dead.
The incident is not believed to be criminal in nature.
