JUNCTION CITY, Kan. – Sheridan Elementary has been named a Bright Spots Top School, an award that recognizes schools across the United States that are beating the odds in literacy education.
Bright Spots is a data-journalism project of The 74, a nonprofit newsroom that covers education across the country. The Bright Spots Project shines a national spotlight on schools where students are thriving, particularly schools where third-grade literacy performance is exceeding expectations.
