Postseason play has arrived. The Junction City Lady Jay softball team will play in the Derby Regional.
Junction City finished the regular season with a 10-10 record and is the ninth seed in the 6A West bracket. The Lady Jays will play the eighth seed, Wichita Northwest at 3:00 p.m. today in Derby.
The winner will advance to the championship game and will face either the overall number one seed, Derby, or the 16 seed, Wichita East.
The championship game is also tonight at 6:00 p.m. in Derby. The winner of this regional will advance to the 6A State Tournament.
