The Geary County Historical Society is seeking a Director of Programs and Education. The Director of Programs and Education develops and implements educational and community programs that will increase knowledge of and appreciation of Geary County history for both youth and adult. These programs include monthly Hands on History homeschool programs and STEAM Saturday programs among others.
Historical Society Executive Director Heather Hagedorn said this 40hr/week position has a Tuesday-Saturday schedule. Qualified candidates have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in History, English, Education or related field and at least two years of experience. Salary up to $50,000 and includes benefits.
