Geary County Public Works would like to announce the upcoming Summer Hours. The Public Works crew will be working 7AM – 3:30PM effective Tuesday, May 28, 2024. We will resume normal hours of 8AM – 4:30PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Summer Hours also affect the hours of operation at the Geary County Landfill. Effective Tuesday, May 28, 2024, the Landfill will be open from 7:30AM– 3PM. We will resume normal hours of 8AM – 4:30PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Geary County Transfer Station, the Recycling/HHW Center and offices will not be affected and will continue their normal business hours.
