The Junction City Ladies Reading Club is supporting Arbor Day sponsoring a "Tree Seedling Day" from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The trees will be given away free from the club home at 224 N. Jefferson, but donations will be welcomed to support the club, according to Ladies Reading Club President Ellen Westerhaus.
The types of trees will be Redbud, Lilac, Eastern White Pine, Lacebark Elm and Shumard Oak. Arbor Day will be celebrated this year on April 28.
