--The Geary County Convention & Visitors Bureau reported Monday that the former Super 8 Motel has been rebranded as a Red Lion Motel.
--Motels that have closed include Econolodge in Grandview Plaza, and in Junction City the Homestead Motel was removed to make way for the new Caseys. The Great Western Inn recently closed and now operates as The Dels facility.
--In other business CVB Director Raquel Cinco reported that they participated in a recent show in Denver. Future trips are planned to shows in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
