Eleventh grade students Nathan Dunaway and Jonathan Featherstone of jCHS participated in the Fall 2021 InvestWrite® competition and placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in the Kansas Senior High School Division. For this honor, Nathan earned a scholarship in the amount of $4,000 and Jonathan earned a $2,000 scholarship.

Students enter the world of business and finance by participating in The Stock Market Game and the teacher-designed writing component and competition, reinforces their newfound knowledge and hones critical thinking skills. InvestWrite builds a bridge between classroom learning and the real world.
