WASHINGTON COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident during a pursuit by law enforcement just after 10a.m. Monday in Washington County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Ram 1500 driven by Robert Darius Allen, 22, Bellevue, Washington was northbound fleeing from law enforcement on Kansas 15 Northbound one and one half miles south of U.S. 36.
The pickup traveled into the east ditch. rolled and struck an embankment.
EMS transported Allen and a passenger Rylee Lavern Linders, 22, Bellevue, Washington, to the Washington County, Kansas hospital. They were not wearing seat belt, according to the KHP. One juvenile was present in the vehicle; juvenile protected data, according to the KHP.
